Kwara concession
A vast area for exclusive safaris
The Kwara Concession covers an impressive 1.750 km² right in the center of the Okavango Delta’s northern edge. This game rich private concession offers a very exclusive safari experience; with just two camps in the area, it feels like you have the land to yourself.
The concession shares a 30-kilometer water boundary with the famous Moremi Game Reserve, allowing wildlife to roam free between these areas. This way, the concession has the advantage of the wildlife of the Moremi Game Reserve, without the restrictions on activities. This Okavngo Delta concession has access to deep-water areas and shallow floodplains on the north side, as well as a vast, dry, game-viewing area with thriving populations of impala, tsessebe, kudu and giraffe. And along with the seasonal floodplains, the concession is also a labyrinth of permanent water channels. The Kwara Concession is particularly well known for wild dog, although lions, leopard and cheetah are also frequently spotted here. In addition to game drives and motorboat excursions, you can also go on a safari walk, fishing and mokoro excursion.
