Riding with the elephants
This large Okavango Delta concession west of the Moremi Game Reserve covers around 1750 km² to the southwest of the Delta and is restricted to just 48 guests in two small camps; a very low guest density.
In this Okavango Delta concession, you will find Abu Camp, which is the only camp where you can ride elephants. Getting up close and personal with these beautiful, impressive, animals is a truly unique experience. Take in the views of seasonal floodplains, dotted with islands of hardwood and palm trees. During a game drive or safari activity, there’s a lot of big game to spot: elephant, buffalo, giraffe, blue wildebeest, kudu, tsessebe, impala, zebra, giraffe, impala and many more. Lion and spotted hyena are the dominant predators.
